Study and Go Abroad Fall Fair Coming to a City Near You

If you’re young, healthy, and have few commitments, the world is your oyster. Why not take advantage of the fantastic freedom you have to embark on a life experience you’ll never forget?

Canada’s leading international university and study travel expo is announcing their annual Study and Go Abroad Fall Fairs, designed to help students explore global opportunities. Admission is free and the public is welcome!

As part of a cross-country tour that will include the cities of Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Ottawa, and Toronto, the Study and Go Abroad Fall Fairs offer students in Canada a great opportunity to get firsthand information from exhibitors from around the world. The expo will help students and adults understand their options for post-secondary studies overseas, as well as explore opportunities for volunteering, language travel, internships and work abroad programs.

Meeting face-to-face with representatives from top-ranked universities from around the world will help you learn about their undergraduate and postgraduate degrees, diploma and certificate programs, and scholarships that are available. Institutions from close to 30 countries will be showcasing their world-renowned programs in a variety of fields including Law, Medicine, Pharmacy, Business, Hotel Management, Technology, Science, and Culinary and Liberal Arts. Visit the Travel Zone for information to do with work abroad, volunteer programs, internships, and language travel.

A highlight of the event will be free seminars covering a range of topics, including “Scholarships, Myths and Tips,” “Discover the UK” and “Study in Australia: a Future Unlimited.”

Instead of idle vacationing, the younger generation tends to travel abroad to become true “global citizens,” expanding their horizons and contributing to world improvement. Without putting your education on hold, you can experience what the world has to offer by taking advantage of the opportunity to study and go abroad. Your international experience will look great on your resume, and can help to set you apart from other candidates in an increasingly competative job market. But the benefits go even further. Understanding the world and its people will ultimately help you to understand yourself. And when you do that, the world truly is your oyster.
